Beloved husband of Shirley and is predeceased by his first wife, Catherine (1996). Dear father of Lorne (Tara), Scott (Diane), Paul (Caroline), Terry Lynn Bargas and Paula Ronald; cherished grandfather of Ocean, Nioma, Andrew, Bradley, Lorne, Justine, Tobias, Sherri and Kimberly; loved brother of Barbara Dawson, Allie Bechtel, Richard, Carl and Hugh. Lorne was a retired employee of Long Manufacturing, a former police officer, having served with the Preston Police Force and the OPP and was an adherent of St. John's on the Hill United Church. Private family services will be conducted in the chapel of Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, today (Monday), with Rev. Jane Wylie officiating.
