  MacKINNON, Patricia Stirling (nee Russell) Pat quietly left us Sunday evening. She was loved and cherished by her daughter, Cathie and son-in-law Ken. She will be greatly missed by her many good friends, extended family and her faithful dogs, Misty and Russell, who showered her with kisses over the years. She will be reunited with Archie, her husband of almost 50 years, who died in 1996. From the beginning, Pat's life was filled with challenges, but she always overcame them with huge inner strength, incredible poise and sharp sense of humor. On Sunday, it was time for her to go. Many thanks to the kind and caring staff of Versa Care lodge in Brantford, for making her last few months comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you also to the many individuals at Brantford General Hospital, who helped her get on her feet again last summer and especially to the Palliative Care Team, who eased her though the last few days. Funeral service will be held at the Knox Galt Presbyterian Church, 2 Grand Avenue S., on Thursday, April 17, 2008, at 1 p.m., followed by interment at Mount View Cemetery.
