- MRS. JACOB NIERGARTH
Mrs. Jacob Niergarth, 88, of Heritage Home, St. Jacobs, died Aug. 15 after a lengthy illness. She had lived nearly all her life on William Street, Waterloo.
The former Emma Toletzki, she was born Nov. 6, 1879 in Waterloo. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Toletzki. Her husband died in 1957.
Mrs. Niergarth was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo, and was formerly active in the Ladies Aid of the church.
Surviving are a son, Howard, of Kitchener; a daughter Mrs. John (Lorraine) Lauman of Kitchener; a brother, Fred, of Waterloo; a sister, Mrs. Hannah Westfall, of St. Jacobs and three grandchildren. A daughter, Alice, died in 1955.
The body was at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, Waterloo. The funeral service was conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of St. John's Lutheran church by Rev. A. L. Conrad. Burial in Mount Hope cemetery.
