      Surrounded by his loving family, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, May 11, 2002, in his 77th year, James Ward of Cambridge-Galt. Beloved husband of Sophie Foss; loving father of Sharon Rose Bach and her husband Harold and Barbara Nadine Gamble. Cherished by three grandchildren, Angela Gamble, Christopher Bach and Steve Gamble. Dear brother of Alan Ward and his wife Peggie and special uncle to Janice, Debra and Terri. Mr. Ward taught at Glenview Park Secondary School, Cambridge and was appointed the Director of Technological Studies at Glenview in 1960 and retired from the school in 1985. He was a former electrician at Canadian General Tower and was a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 63 Grand Avenue, North, Cambridge, on Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at 1: 30 p.m., with Rev. Andrew Paulsen officiating. Interment Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
