  JONES,Ernest Henry On Wednesday, May 5, 1999, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Ernest Jones, 80 years of age, beloved husband of Nellie, dear father of Sharon Ann Long, Cambridge, Loraine and her husband Al Tremblay, Kitchener, Robert Jones and his wife Lorna, Cambridge, Catherine and her husband Scott Norwood, Cambridge. Dear grandfather of Jason, Andrew, Jody, Jennifer, Chad, Ian and Tyler. Dear brother of Gwen Watson, Carnie Jones, John Jones and his wife Pat, and Ken Jones and Ruth Downham, Brantford. Predeceased by his parents, Nellie and Henry Jones. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Jones was a veteran of W.W.II and served the Canadian First Division in Europe, for six years. Ernest was employed at Newlands, in Cambridge, for 38 years, before retiring in 1984. Cremation has taken place. The funeral service for Mr. Jones will be held at the Salvation Army, Cambridge Citadel, 16 Shade Street, on Monday morning, at 11 o'clock. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
