    • Mrs. Dorothea Becker
      An esteemed Waterloo citizen in the person of Mrs. Dorothea Becker, relict of the late Conrad Becker, passed away at her home on Elgin street early Thursday morning, March 27th, following a short illness. Mrs. Becker, who was born in Germany in 1854 and was in her 77th year. There survive, one son Henry of Waterloo, two daughters, Mrs. George Ebert of Tavistock and Miss Kate Becker at home and one sister, Mrs. Mary Gaul of Detroit. Her husband predeceased her ten years.
      The funeral which was held Saturday afternoon at 2: 30 o'clock from 28 Elgin street, was largely attended by friends and relatives. Interment was made in Mount Hope Cemetery. Rev. C.S. Roberts, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church conducted the services.
