- KERR, Madelyn Jean Picard
At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Friday, July 14, 2000. Born in Eaton, Quebec, October 18, 1924, Madelyn was a resident of Cambridge, since 1949. She was an employee, at the Galt Reporter, Loblaws and a security tenant, at the Arthur White Manor, where she lived. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymour Kerr (1987), her mother, Jeannette Belden (1969), her father, George Picard (1938) and her brother-in-law, Ernie Bergeron (1996). Survived by her sister, Helen Bergeron of Ottawa and brother, Howard Picard and his wife Reta of Belleville, Ontario. Dear mother to Bryan Gilbert and his wife Joan of British Columbia, Keith (Kerr) Gilbert and his wife Connie and grandmother, to Dan and his partner Nicole, Rob and his partner Corrine and Brian, all of Cambridge. Also mother to Cynthia Kerr and her partner Gail Stephens and her three sons; Travis, Jason and Damien, all of Australia. Survived by two nephews, George Picard of Calgary and Leslie Picard of Belleville and one niece, Carole Laffoon of Africa. Resting at Coutts & Son Funeral Home 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge, where family will receive friends, Friday, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel, at 1: 30 p.m., on Saturday, July 22, 2000, with Leslie Picard officiating. Interment to follow in Mount View Cemetery.
