Notes |
- Walker, Carrie
Yesterday morning at 11 o'clock, occurred the death of Carrie Walker, daughter of Gottlieb and Mary Walker, aged 16 years and five months. The deceased until about a year ago, was employed in the lower mills. She had to give up her position on account of her failing health and since then she had gradually grown worse, until death ended her sufferings. She was a very devoted girl and a regular attendant of the Evangelical church. Among the young people of the village, she was a general favorite and her death is mourned by the entire village. The funeral will take place from her father's residence, Patrick street, on Saturday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, to the Hespeler cemetery.
