  • Notes
    • Mrs. Hauser

Another one of the oldest residents of the village, has been called home, in the person of Mrs. Hauser. The deceased has long been a resident of the village, emigrating from Beuren, Germany, about forty years ago and settling in Preston. Soon after her arrival in Canada, Mrs. Hauser married, but her husband died about nineteen years ago. The deceased had been in poor health since last fall, but only seriously ill for about a month. Three sons and one daughter, all grown up, are left to mourn her loss. They are Joseph, at home, John and Andrew Buffalo and a daughter in Hespeler. The funeral will take place from her late residence, on Sunday morning, at 10 o'clock, to the R.C. Church, where service will be held and thence to the Catholic Cemetery.
