- HARRIS, Evelyn "Eves"
Peacefully, passed away at her home, Stirling Heights LTCC, with her family at her side, on Monday, September 11, 2017, at the age of 97 years. Survived by her devoted sister, Jean Foreman (George) and her beloved brother, Dickie Johnally (Merle). Predeceased by her adopted son, John Dryden, her sisters; Grace Moulton (Fitz), Daphne Parkin (Byron), brothers; Vincent Johnally (Ainee), George Johnally (Doscelyn), Horace Johnally (Peggy) and by her parents, Charles and Adeline Johnally. She will be lovingly remembered by over 4 generations of more than 40 nieces and nephews, who affectionately called her 'Auntie Eves'. Evelyn was born in Jamaica, where she worked as a nursing assistant for several years, until she immigrated to Canada, with her husband, Clive Harris. She resided in Cambridge, for the last 35 years, where she remained very close to her extended family. The most important blessing in her life was her family, whom she treasured. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. James Anglican Church, 520 Ellis Road, Cambridge, on Saturday, September 23, 2017, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
