Of Fountain Street, Cambridge, on Tuesday, March 12, 2002, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 62nd year. Loving daughter of Bertha and the late Allen Gmelin. Miss Gmelin was born in Kitchener and had been a lifelong resident of Cambridge. She spent her whole life in the floral industry, side by side with Al, Bertha and her brother, Carl. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and an honored recipient of a Paul Harris Fellowship presented by the Cambridge (Preston/Hespeler) Rotary Club. She was extremely active in all community groups, although not involved in their membership and a former Girl Guide leader of Trefoil House. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, this evening (Thursday), from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 810 King St. E., Cambridge, on Saturday, March 16, 2002, at 2: 00 p.m., with Rev.
