  Elizabeth Scott Widow of the late Thomas Oliver, died very suddenly on Friday morning last, only having been sick for a few days previously. The deceased was born in Roxboroughshire, Scotland and came to Canada with her husband, about 40 years ago, living at different places. About 20 years ago Mrs. Oliver came to Galt and has resided here ever since. She had no family. Deceased was a sister of Mrs. Fleming, West Main street and has a brother living in Scotland. The funeral which took place on Sunday afternoon, from the residence of James Blake, Cedar street, to Mount View Cemetery and was very largely attended. The Weekly Reformer 25 Aug 1893 pg 1
