  KUNKLE - Clarence Martin Of 139 Dorset Road, Cambridge, at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Thursday, May 16, 1991, in his 68th year. Clare Kunkle beloved husband of Eileen Walter and dear father of Dianne (Mrs. James Ryan) Susan (Mrs. Glen Shields) and Joanne (Mrs. Bruce Baptie) all of Cambridge and Jackie (Mrs. Robert Nagy) of Waterford. Also survived by 9 brothers and sisters and 12 grandchildren. Mr. Kunkle was a member of St. Ambrose R. C. Church and the Rotary Club of Cambridge, he was the former Police Chief of Galt and was the former Deputy Chief of the Waterloo Regional Police Force, retiring Dec. 31, 1982. He was the former Chairman of Zone 5 of Police Chiefs and was a member of the Senior Officers Club of the Waterloo Regional Police Association. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where friends will be received on Saturday, from 7 - 9 p.m. and Sunday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held from St. Ambrose R.C. Church, Chalmers Street South, Cambridge, on Monday, May 20, 1991, at 10 a.m. Interment Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge. Cambridge Reporter 1991
