  KENNEDY, John Vincent With his family by his side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, June 24, 1998, in his 73rd year, John Kennedy of Clyde Road. Beloved husband of Rita (Murrin) and dear father of Kevin and Joan, Joan and husband Les, Myles and his wife Kay all of St. John's, Newfoundland, Diane Kennedy, Christine Spencer, John Kennedy and his wife Melanie, Donna Lyle and husband Terry, Jeannie Kennedy, Carol Kennedy and Brian, Gary Kennedy and wife Christine, Paula Tremblay and husband Jeff and Bonnie Anderson and husband Dave all of Cambridge. Dear grandfather of 24 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Dear brother; of Florence Galway of Cambridge, Eileen Hynes and husband Walter of Brampton, Loretta Kennedy and Elizabeth Walsh both of St. John's, Newfoundland. He was predeceased by his two beloved children, Sharon and Michael and by his sister Mary Fitzgerald. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Thursday (today), from 2 -4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's R.C.
