At the Eventide Home, Cambridge, in her 101st. year. Minnie Luscombe loving mother to Gertrude (Mrs. Herb Poole) of Cambridge. She will be dearly missed by her three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Luscombe is survived by her sisters; Hilda Coombs and Jessie Richards both of Florida and her brothers; Matt and Harold Toms both of LaScie, Newfoundland. She is predeceased by her two husbands, Joseph Harding and Samuel Luscombe, as well as five brothers. Mrs. Luscombe was born in Shoe Cove, Newfoundland and lived there until moving to Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, in 1941. She has been a resident of Galt, since 1953. Mrs. Luscombe was a devoted soldier of the Salvation Army Corp. and a member of the Salvation Army Home League. Family will receive friends at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Friday (today), 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel, on Sunday, November 1st., 1987, at 2: 00 p.m., with Major H. Pilgrim officiating. Interment Mount View Cemetery.
