    • LANGLOIS, Arnold Joseph

With heavy hearts, Arnold's family wish to report that his ship has set sail for its final journey. Suddenly at his home in Cambridge, on Tuesday, February 24, 2004, at the age of 75 years. Loving husband and companion of Hazel Walsh for 48 years, treasured dad and loyal champion of Selwyn and Jacki, Arliss and Lori and Pam and Bill, cherished grandpa and playmate of Marc, Chris, Adam and Jordan and proud grandpa-great of Michael. Born in Grande Grave (Gaspe), Quebec in 1928, he spent his youth fishing the St. Lawrence and sailing the Great Lakes. After marrying, he set up home in Douglastown, Quebec, until he moved the family to Galt, in 1969. He retired from Cambridge Brass in 1993. Survived by one brother Hewlett. He was predeceased by his parents, May Roberts (1930) and Wyndham (1988), and one sister Ella Gallichan (1952). In his life he touched many people, as a friend, uncle, brother-in-law, and neighbour. His hand was always there in time of need and his door was always open. He will be sadly missed. Friends will be received at Little's Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 223 Main St. E., Cambridge, on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The parish rosary will be recited at the funeral home, on Friday evening, at 8: 30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at St. Ambrose RC Church, Chalmers St. S., at South St., Cambridge, on Saturday, February 28, 2004, at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
