  THE LATE MRS. HUNTER Mrs. Helen Hunter died on Monday morning, at the advanced age of 84 years. She was born in Ayr, Scotland, in the year 1809 and was married to Daniel Hunter, who subsequently died. Mrs. Hunter then came to Canada and lived for a time with her brother, the late Andrew McIlwraith. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, from the residence of Mr. Chas. Turnbull, Lansdowne Ave., to Mount View Cemetery, the remains being followed to their last resting place by a large number of friends and relatives. The Weekly Reformer 24 Nov 1893 pg 1
