• Notes

  Death claimed one of the most popular residents of Haysville in the person of Oliver Nahrgang, the rural mail courier, age 64 years. Despite the fact that he not been in the best of health for some time past he did not give up until about two weeks ago and in spite of all that could be done he passed away on Tuesday afternoon. His death came as a shock to his host of friends in this district. He leaves to mourn his loss besides his widow, 2 daughters and 4 sons, Mrs. Hymen Katoff, of Buffalo, N. Y., and Helen at home, Herbert, of St. Louis, Mo., Walter of East Aurora, N. Y. and York and Arthur at home. The funeral will be held on Friday, December 5th. Private service at the house at 1.30 p.m. thence to Geiger's Church for public service and interment in adjoining cemetery. New Hamburg Independent, December 5, 1930
