Suddenly, on Sunday evening, at the K-W Hospital, Michael A. Godin, of Route 1, Hespeler, in his 19th year. Beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Edgar Godin; dear grandson of John W. Skinner of Hespeler; dear brother of John and Raymond, both of Hespeler, Richard, Gerald and Gary, all of Preston, Paul, Jenette, Carol and Debbie, all at home and Mrs. John (Diane) Morrison of Guelph. Resting at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Hespeler, Cambridge, until Thursday morning; thence to St. Patrick RC Church, for funeral mass, at 10 a.m. Interment New Hope cemetery.

Cambridge man killed
CAMBRIDGE, An 18 year old Cambridge man, was killed, Sunday night, when the car he was driving went out of control, on Beaverdale Road and struck a hydro pole. Dead is Michael A. Godin, RR 1 (Hespeler). The accident occurred about 7: 50 p.m. Mr. Godin was west-bound on Beaverdale Road when the car hit an icy patch. He was trapped inside the vehicle about two hours, while Cambridge firemen attempted to pry him from the wreckage. Mr. Godin was taken to South Waterloo Hospital by ambulance and was pronounced dead, at 10: 20 p.m. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Godin and had six brothers and four sisters.
