      In Beverly Township, on Friday afternoon at five minutes past 2, January 30, 1891, in her 33rd year. Wife of Duncan Gillies. She was all that a woman could be as wife and mother. Her illness, at first slight, became aggravated, although not so much as to occasion grave anxiety, until the day before her death, when it was seen that she was sinking. Mrs. Gillies was a daughter of Alex. McIntyre, formerly of Galt and now of Niagara Falls. She leaves five young children. Her funeral took place on Monday afternoon and was largely attended.

      -Daughter of Alexander McIntyre and Mary Gilchrist of Puslinch.

      -Information from the death certificate: Death due to congestion of the kidneys and heart disease. .
