  ARCHER, Mrs. J. Wilfred (Ada) At the K-W Hospital on Sunday, July 3, 1977, Ada Christina Simpson, a resident of St. Raphael's Nursing Home and formerly of Cambridge (Galt). Mrs. Archer was born in Appin, Ontario, a daughter of the late John Simpson and the former Louisa Long. A member of St. James Rosemount United Church. Predeceased by her husband, J. W. Archer in 1960. Surviving are her son, Reginald J. Archer of Kitchener; a sister, Louisa (Mrs. Cecil Mann) of London and by grandchildren, Elizabeth Anne (Mrs. B. Engel), Kensington, Cal. and David J. Archer of Oshawa; four great-grandchildren also survive. A private memorial service was held today, with Dr. Charles Lewis officiating, with interment in the family plot on Mountview cemetery, Galt. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 5 Jul 1977 pg 25
