- William Stahlbaum
PRESTON, William C. Stahlbaum, 49 of 56 Water St. South, Galt, died Saturday at Collingwood Hospital, following an accident. Mr. Stahlbaum was born in Preston and had resided in Preston, most of his life, where he was employed at Canadian Office and School Furniture, Ltd. He had lived in Galt, for only a few years. He was an adherent of the Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Dorothy Griffin and one son, Fred, at home. Other survivors include his father Edward Stahlbaum of Preston; two brothers, Edward, Jr., of Ayr and Robert of Preston and his sisters, Mrs. Frank (Adelaide) Rock of Toronto and Mrs. Alfred (Margaret) Hetu of Falls River, Mass. The body is at the Stager-Barthel Funeral Home, where the funeral will be conducted Tuesday, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Preston Park Lawn Cemetery. Rev. J. S. Dauphinee of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, will officiate.
