- Mrs. Daniel MacDonald
PRESTON, Mrs. Daniel MacDonald, 56, of 321 Vine St., Preston, died Friday, at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Galt, following one day's illness. Mrs. MacDonald was the former Lillian Hardy and was born at the Isle of St. Pierre. She had lived in Preston, since 1948. She was a member of St. Clement's RC Church, the Catholic Women's League, Altar Society and League of the Sacred Heart. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Donald MacDonald of Saskatchewan; nine daughters, Mrs. Ray (Harriet) Campbell, Mrs. Albert (Georgina) Pearson, Mrs. Albert (Mildred) Turgeon, Mrs. Douglas (Beatrice) Evanson, all of Belleville; Mrs. Maurice (Christine) Thuillard of Brampton, Mrs. Wallace ( Margaret) Finkle of Saint John, N.B., Mrs. John (Mary) Pederson of Dawson Creek, B.C., Miss Margaret and Miss Yvonne MacDonold. both of London, Ont.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary McNeil of Port Colborne, Mrs. Madeline O'Day of Port Morine, N.S. and Mrs. Georgina Vickers of Kingston, Ont,; 27 grandchildren, One brother predeceased her. The body will be at the Maurice J. O'Brien Funeral Home, until 9: 30 a.m., Tuesday. Requiem mass will be solemnized at St. Clements RC Church, Tuesday, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Clement's RC Cemetery.
