Of Cambridge, on Monday, July 2, 2007, at her residence, in her 89th year. Gladys is survived by her beloved, only son, Brian Gallagher (Noly); her very special step-daughter, Eleanor Martin and her other step-daughter, Shirley Connelly; her grandchildren, John E. Gallagher, Cory Martin (Donna), Christine Kelly, Andy and Todd Cralik and John Connelly and her great- grandchildren; John B. Gallagher, Kyle and Jayme Kelly. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Edith Poll; her loving niece, Margaret Brethet (Ross); nephew Earl Poll (Sandy); great-nieces, Laura Scanling (Paul), Valerie McPherson (Dan) and Wendy Wilton and great-nephew, Jim Brethet; two great-grand nieces, Tracey Scanling and Olivia McPherson and two great-grand nephews, Blair Scanling and Connor Wilton. Gladys was predeceased by her parents, John H. Poll (1952) and Laura Koehler (1962); her first husband, John Gallagher (1949) and her second husband, Ernest Liphard (1991); her brother, Hugh Poll (1997). Gladys was born in North Dumfries township and lived her life in Galt (Cambridge). She worked at the Right House, Walker Store and Marks and Spencers. At Gladys' request, there will be a small family service at Mount View Cemetery on Friday, July 6, 2007, with a reception to be held at Kathleen Elliott Court, 95 Concession Street, from 1 p.m., to 3: 30 p.m.
