      At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, February 26th, 1992, in his 70th year. Arthur Lambert, beloved husband of Eva, dear father of Joanne (Mrs. Wayne Near) of Cambridge and Nancy (Mrs. Wallace Ritchie) of Glenmorris. Loved grandfather of Christopher Ritchie of Guelph, Karen (Mrs. Boyd Nairn) of Kitchener and Trevor Ritchie of Glenmorris. Dear brother of Phyllis (Mrs. Gordon Baker) of Cambridge. Predeceased by his parents, David and Della Padget Lambert, one brother, George, killed in action in 1940 and one sister, Jean Simons (1986). Mr. Lambert was a long term employee of George Weston Ltd. of Brantford and in more recent years with the Sunbeam Corporation of Canada in Toronto and Orangeville, retiring in 1979. He was an ordained Elder of the Presbyterian Church of Canada and a member of St. Andrews (Galt) Presbyterian Church. He was an overseas veteran of W.W. 2, serving with the R.C.A.F. Squadron 431. Friends will be received at COUTTS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 96 St. Andrew St., Cambridge, on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral and Committal Services will be in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, at 2 p.m., Rev. Barry Luxon officiating. Interment, Mount View Cemetery.
