    • Shantz, Elizabeth, daughter of Aaron and Mary (Beihu) Shantz, was born Oct. 15, 1880; died Jan. 28, 1952; aged 71 y. 3m. 13 d. At the age of 16 she accepted Christ as her Saviour during one of John S. Coffman's revival meetings, uniting with the Mennonite Church to which vows she remained loyal through life. In December, 1905, she was married to Joshua Nahrgang, who predeceased her Dec. 31, 1908. Her son, Wilfred Nahrgang, also predeceased her in 1945. On March 3, 1914, she married Noah Shantz, who survives her. Four sisters (Mrs. Rudy Roth, New Hamburg, Ont.; Mrs. Abram Cressman, Plattsville, Ont.; Mrs. Abram Good, Baden, Ont.; and Mrs. Abram Snyder, Waterloo, Ont.) also survive her. Funeral services were conducted by the Belnheim Mennonite Church near New Dundee, Ont., Jan. 30, by Curtis Cressman and Moses Bowman. Burial was made in the Detwiler Cemetery near Roseville, Ont.
