- MRS. JAMES H. ROBERTSON
Mrs. Louise M. Robertson passed away at her home on Peel St. early Wednesday morning, following an illness which had confined her to her bed for the past five weeks. Mrs. Robertson had been ailing for the last couple of years.
Deceased was born in Croydon, Eng., sixty-six years ago, the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mullett. With her parents she came to Canada, settling in Galt, when she was 12 years old. In 1882 she became the wife of James H. Robertson, who now survives her. Following their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Robertson used in Goderich for fifteen years and in Orillia, coming to Barrie eight years. ago.
Mrs. Robertson was intensely interested in temperance work, having belonged to the W.C.T.U. for 45 years. Deceased was president of the Goderich and Orillia unions and was a charter member of the Galt union. Mrs. Robertson is survived by two sons Howard of Galt and Albert of Midland. Osborne Robertson, a grand daughter, has lived with Mr. and Mrs. Robertson all her life.
The funeral will take place at Galt On Friday evening from the home of her son, Howard, of Galt. Mr. Howard Robertson of Galt has been ill with injuries received during the last war and for that ___ funeral is being held at Galt. Service will be held at her late home this evening at eight o'clock, with Rev. W. T. Bunt in charge. The remains will be taken to Galt on the 8. 40 train for internment
