      At her residence on Wednesday, January 7, 1998, in her 72nd year. Beloved wife for 53 years of Lawrence, (Larry) Lewin. Dear mother of daughters Lynn (Paul) Smith of Fredericton, NB., Kathy (Ted) Pendle of Sarnia, Wendy (Jon) Eby of Cambridge, and son Lawrence (Larry) Lewin also of Cambridge. Loving grandmother of Jason ( Annette) Smith of Halifax, N.S., Jennifer (Greg) Beach of Miramichi, N.B., Kathleen and Shawn Pendle of Sarnia and Ethan and Elizabeth Eby of Cambridge. Sister of Myrna Johnson of Kitchener, Jessie (Russ) Kelly of Brampton, and Ronald (Sylvia) Haight of Cambridge. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents Cora and Secord Haight, brothers; Gus, Gordon and Gerald and by sister; June. Kay was an active member of the Galt Country Club and a longtime member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. Her first love was for her family, but she was also committed to the well being of others through her participation in various charities and service organizations. Kay enjoyed travel, golfing, curling, bowling, bridge and spending time with her many friends. The family wishes to express its thanks to Dr. Michael Lawrie, the V.O.N. nurses, night nurses Bernie and Joanne and the staff of the Home Care Program. Friends will be received at COUTTS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on Thursday, from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Cambridge (Galt), on Saturday, January 10, 1998, at 2 p.m. Rev. John Deyarmond officiating. Interment to follow in Mount View Cemetery.
