    • LUND, John Robert

      Passed away at Fairview Mennonite Home, on Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, at the age of 84. Loving wife of Grace Lund (nee Smith). Beloved father of David and his wife Sheena of Burlington, Dianne Fenton, Nancy Foster and her husband Peter and Beverley Furtado and her husband Jose, all of Cambridge; cherished grandfather of Michael and Dennis Lund, Kelly Drake and Stacey Williamson, Christopher and Corrine Foster and Shawn and Alicia Furtado and five great-grandchildren. John is survived by his brother, Robert and his wife Jean of Cambridge. Predeceased by his brother, Karl and sister, Bernice. John was a former Elder and member of Lincoln Avenue United Church, a member of their choir and a member of the Fleming Gray Male Choir. He retired after 35 years of service with Canada Post. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends today (Tuesday), 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the auditorium at Fairview Mennonite Home, 515 Lange Dr., Cambridge, on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002, at 2 p.m. Interment at Mount View. Cemetery.
