  Mrs. Roy J. Cowan GALT, Mrs. J. Roy Cowan. formerly of Brant Road North, died Tuesday, at her home, 247 Franklin St. N., Kitchener. Born in Scotland, she was the former Jessie L. Gray. She came to Galt in 1910. She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church. She was predeceased by her husband in January, 1969. Surviving are one son, Dr. Laing Gray Cowan of New York City, one daughter, Mrs. William (Joan) Little of Preston, two sisters, Mrs. W. L. (Helen) Cowan of Galt and Mrs. A. J. (Mary) Remington of Brantford, and two grandchildren. The body is at Little's Funeral Home where funeral and committal services will be conducted, Thursday, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Mountview cemetery.
