  Nancy Bechtel "the second in the family, was born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, January 5th, 1784. She came to Canada with her parents in 1801, and was married to Samuel, son of David Eschelman. He was born August 5th, 1784, and died October 13th, 1870. They resided near Blair, on the farm still known as the "Eschelman" farm, where she died January 23rd, 1863. they had a family of three children". Eby, Ezra E. (1895).
