Jacob Stoltz s/o Jacob & Sophia (nee) Speckin b. 28 Dec 1835, bapt. 30 Oct 1836 Berlin, sponsors: Henry Boehmer, Michael Stoltz [S7] News - ON, Waterloo, Kitchener - Berliner Journal (1859-1917), 13 Oct 1887. 06 Oct 1887 Sophia Stoltz, widow of Jakob Stoltz, died in Wilmot, a native of Strassburg, Alsace; emigrated in 1834. She was 84 years and 4 months old. Very many friends and neighbours were present at her burial on Sunday afternoon. Pastors Berner and Wurster presided at the funeral service the former in German and the latter in English. [S7] News - ON, Waterloo, Kitchener - Berliner Journal (1859-1917), 2 Nov 1882. 27 Oct 1882 Jakob Stoltz died near New Dundee, at age of 81 years, 10 months and 1 day.
