    • Mrs. Elizabeth Becker, relict of the late John Becker, passed peacefully away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Conrad Schmidt, Wilmot, last Tuesday at the age of 81 years, 11 months and 26 days. The deceased's Maiden name was Elizabeth Krug and she went to Kitchener in 1846, where she was married to her late husband, who pre-deceased her 30 years ago. For about forty-five years she was a resident of North Easthope and was highly esteemed by the community. The late Mrs. Becker was a devout adherent of the Lutheran faith and a kind and loving Mother, Two daughters, Mrs. John Cook, North Easthope, and Mrs. Wm, Rothaermel, of Waterloo, predeceased her, and five sons and four daughters survive her. They are: William I,, of Stratford; John C , of Detroit; Harry B., and Daniel F., in Alberta; Jacob K,, of Kitchener; Mrs. D. McFarlane, Shakespeare; Mrs, H. C, Kalbfleisch, New Hamburg; Mrs. Henry G. Schmidt, North Easthope, and Mrs. Conrad Schmidt, of Wilmot, Besides - these she leaves 44 Grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren, and one Gt, Gt. Grandchild, having lived to see her fifth generation. Her remains were taken to her former home in North Easthope, from where the funeral took place, to the St. Jacob's Lutheran Church and Cemetery in North Easthope.
