  Edmund Morton \endash The death occurred in Vegreville, Alberta, on Thursday, March 9th, of Edmund Morton, a former resident of this village, aged 78 years, 10 months and 13 days. Deceased was a son of the late Alex Morton, who at one time conducted a saddlery and harness shop here. His wife, whose maiden name was Janet Watson, daughter of Robert Watson of Portage la Prairie, formerly of Ayr, died several years ago. He is survived by four sons and one daughter; also a brother, Crammond Morton of Toronto. The late Robert Morton, a former storekeeper here, was also a brother.
