- DEATH OF Mrs. MCCARLEY
The death occurred Thursday morning at the residence of her husband on Caroline street, of Mrs. William McCarley, after a long and painful illness extending over a period five years at the age of 54 years, 7 months and 14 days. Deceased, whose maiden name was Elisabeth Anne Stuart, was born on the shores of the Humber River about 8 miles from the city of Toronto and was married to William McCarley, about 33 years ago. The family lived in Waterloo for many years, then moved to a farm near Heidelberg, and after residing there for some years, they moved to Bridgeport, where they lived until recently, when they returned to Waterloo and took up their residence in Mr. J. F. Morley's terrace on Caroline street.
Deceased is survived by her husband and the following children: Effie, Mrs. Geo. Heimbecher, Berlin; William, Berlin; Annie (Mrs. Merlin) Galt; Emma and Clayton at home.
The funeral will take place from the residence on Caroline street on Saturday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock, thence to Mount Hope cemetery for interment.
