  RESENDES, Filomena Augusta Silva (Formerly of Santa Maria, Azores Passed away, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, April 24, 2003, at the age of 71. Loving wife of the late Jose Resendes (1979). Beloved mother of Joe and his wife Tina and Louis and his wife Lourdes, all of Cambridge; cherished grandmother of Richard, Lindsay, Mallory, Cassandra and Chantelle. Filomena is survived by her brothers, Jose of Connecticut, Manuel of Massachusetts and Agostinho of the Azores and sisters, Maria of Toronto and Conceicao of Madeira. She will be sadly missed by special friends, Fatima and Jose Carlos and Nancy and Fernando Resendes. Predeceased by her brothers, Antonio and Joao and sister, Emilia. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends, today (Friday), 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Parish Rosary will be recited at the funeral home this evening (Friday), at 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elgin St. S., Cambridge, on Saturday, April 26, 2003, at 11 a.m. Interment, at Mount View Cemetery.
