  ABERNETHY, Barbara Christina (nee McKenzie) Passed away suddenly, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Monday April 27, 1998, in her 66th year. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Christina McKenzie and a brother, John McKenzie. Survived by her loving husband, Russell of 42 years, sons, Mark and Susan, Craig and Shelly and Todd & Joanne and four grandchildren, Carmen, Rebecca, Mitchell and Sara. Barbara was a former employee of Newland Textiles and latterly with the former Woolco Department Store, Cambridge and had knitted for the Fairy Godmothers of Mary Maxim, Paris. Friends will be received at LITTLE'S FUNERAL HOME, 223 Main Street East, Cambridge, on Wednesday, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Private family service will be conducted at the Funeral Home Chapal on Thursday, April 30, 1998.
