  ELLIS, Kenneth Laverne Of 34 Centennial Dr , Brantford; suddenly, at Brantford General Hospital, on Tuesday, March 7, 2006, in his 81st year. Predeceased by beloved wife M. Vera (Dymond) Ellis, his step-son James Herbert Shrubsall and his two brothers and sister. Dear father of Kathleen (Mrs. Christopher Malone) of Toronto, step-father of Laverne Ellis and his wife Beverly and Larry Shrubsall of Cambridge; dear guardian to her grandchildren, Cindy Potentier and her husband James and Fred Ellis of Brantford. Also survived by seven additional grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He lived in Cambridge, prior to moving to Brantford, in 1971. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends, on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at the funeral home chapel, on Saturday, at 11 a.m. Interment, Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
