Of 35 South Street, Cambridge. At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Monday, April 25th, 1988, in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Ida Anne (McCabe Black) and dear father of James and his wife Anne Marie of Cambridge, William of Cambridge, Catharine (Mrs. Richard Russell) of Kitchener, Teresa (Mrs. Nicholas Cherri) of Cambridge, Anne (Mrs. Daniel Wilson) of Woodstock and Sheila Black of Cambridge. Also survived by 15 grandchildren. Dear brother of Marion WenInfer of Cambridge, Josephine Ingram of Guelph, Sister Mary Magdalen of Regina. Predeceased by a brother, Jack and his parents, William and Mary Ellen Black. Mr. Black was a resident of Cambridge all of his life and was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church. He was employed with Butler Metal Products, for 23 years and with Allen-Bradley, for nine years, until his retirement in 1986. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where friends will be received, on Monday, from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral rnass will be held from St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, South Street, Cambridge, on Wednesday, April 27, 1988, at 11 a.m. Interment, Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
