Brooklyn is survived by her grandparents, Brenda MacLeod of Cambridge and Jean Barrett and Eric Bursey both of Newfoundland and by her great grandmother, Dorrie Whitelaw. also surviving are her uncles Derek MacLeod of Cambridge, Scorr Bursey of Cambridge and her aunts, Stephanie MacLeod of Cambridge, Betty Bursey of Newfoundland, a private service was held at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
