Of Main Street E., Cambridge, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, August 30, 1995, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Helen (Linton) MacDonald and step-father of Hugh A. Purchase of Loring, Stephen G. Purchase of Kahshe Lake, and Ross E. Purchase of Cambridge. Also surviving are his sisters; Kay Price, Pearl Yeaman and Dorothy Gosse and husband Clifford all of Cambridge and his daughter-in-law, Janice Zinn and her children, Jennifer and Andrew Zinn. Predeceased by his first wife Dorothy Tilley, in 1973 and by his step-son Larry B. Zinn, in 1993. Fred MacDonald was retired from Woolley Shoes, had served with the R.C.A.F. during W.W.II, was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Galt Branch 121 and was a drummer with various bands and was a member of the Cambridge Model Airplane Club. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Thursday (today), from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, September 1, 1995, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Linda Ewing officiating. Interment, Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
