    • Joseph H. Bauer, 67, of RR 2, Waterloo, died at St. Mary's Hospital on Monday, September 9, after an illness of three years. Until his retirement in 1937 he was a director of Bauer's Ltd. of Waterloo.

      He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Aloyes Bauer of Waterloo and a member of St. Louis RC Church.

      Surviving are a brother, Henry A. of Waterloo; a foster brother, Charles D. Stroh of Waterloo, and three sisters, Sister M. Stanislaus of Mount St. Joseph in London, Ont., Antoinette and Lucia in Waterloo.

      Three brothers, Harold, Wilfred and Edgar, and two sisters, Mrs. Rose M. Sehl and Sister M. Petronilla, predeceased him.

      The body will be at the Walsh-Sandrock Funeral Home, Waterloo, after 2 pm. Tuesday where the rosary will be recited there at 8 pm, Wednesday. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home at 10 am, Thursday, followed by requiem high mass at St. Louis Church at 10:30 am. Burial will be in Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery.
