  MRS. MARY HERGOTT The sad death took place on Friday evening of Mary Meyer, relict of the late Enoch Hergott, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jacob Schnitzler, George St. The deceased who was in her 66th year had been enjoying her usual health until three weeks ago when she suffered a paralytic stroke and in [] the best of nursing and medical attention slept peacefully away on Friday evening. The funeral took place on Monday morning at nine o'clock from the residence of her daughter, Mrs Jacob Schnitzler, George street, to the St. Louis R. C. church for service thence to the R. C. Church cemetery for interment The late Mrs. Hergott was born in St. Clements in 1854. In 1876 she was married to Mr. Enoch Hergott after which they moved to Stratford where they lived for nine years, later coming to Waterloo where she has resided for 25 years. Her husband died 18 years ago. The past 11 years she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Jacob Schnitzler, George St. A family of three children survive, namely: Albert E; Lovina, (Mrs. J. Schnitzler) Waterloo; and Mary (Mrs. A. W. Fischer), Detroit; and twelve grandchildren; also six sisters, Sister Guntheldis Meyer, Notre Dam Convent, Cologne, Minn., Mrs. Peter Greyerbill, Mrs. V. Heric, Mrs. Jacob Busch, Mrs. Joseph Hirteis all of St. Clements, Mrs. Jacob Schwan, Waterloo, and two brothers, John and George Meyer, of St. Clements.
