  MACKENZIE, MARION (Nee McKellar) The funeral of Mrs. J. M. MacKenzie was held at Galt on Wednesday afternoon, January 26, 1944. Interment was made in Mount View Cemetery. A native of Puslinch Township, she died in Galt, in her 77th year. She attended Knox Presbyterian Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. J. McDougall of New York City; a sister, Mrs. Douglas Smith of Galt; and a brother, Douglas McKellar of Galt. -Information from the marriage certificate: Born in Puslinch c. 1868, daughter of Walter McKellar and Ellen McLarty. She married John B. MacKenzie, born 1847 in North Dumfries, son of John and Janet MacKenzie. -Siblings were Douglas McKellar and Mary McKellar (born c. 1873) married Dugald McColl "Douglas" Smith.
