Earl was a kind, loving and always thankful man who believed in Guardian Angels and on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at the age of 97, he got his wings. Earl was a World War II veteran, in the Scottish Essex Company C and was proud to receive the 65-year pin from the Royal Canadian Legion. In 1954, he won the Galt Bowler of the Year award and also enjoyed playing Cribbage and doing Word Search puzzles. He worked on the family farm and at Sheldon's Engineering for his career. To unwind, Earl spent many beloved years at the family cottage on Lake Erie. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Audrey, children Jane (Ed), Judy, Dennis (Joanna), and Tim; step-children Steve (Kathryn), Terry (Rachelle), John (Judi), Judy (George) and Dan (Wendy). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
