  WRIGHT, Cecil Laverne June 17, 1926 - July 29, 2013. Cecil died peacefully, at Hospice Wellington in Guelph, with family at his side. Born in South River, Ontario, Cecil was a long time resident of Cambridge. He and his wife of 67 years, Eleanor, were members of St. John's on the Hill United Church in Cambridge. Cecil worked for 25 years at Canadian General Tower and 25 years at Allen Bradley. He was an avid cribbage player with his friends at the Legion and enjoyed fishing at his cottage in Port Elgin. Beloved husband of Eleanor (Lichty), devoted father of Dr. Wayne Wright and wife Anne (Thompson) of Guelph and Kristine (Wright) Thompson and her late husband Bruce of Minneapolis, loving grandfather of Eric Wright, wife Molly and great grandchildren, Levi and Zach of Guelph, Lauren Wright and Fiancée Raffi Vartanian of Guelph, Brian Thompson and fiancée Lindsay Buck of Minneapolis, Kevin Thompson and wife Kim of Minneapolis. Predeceased by parents, Arthur and Cecilia Wright, brother, Wilbert and sister, Jesse. A Memorial service will be held on August 7, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at Coutts Funeral Home in Cambridge.
