  SILVA, Maria Brun Peacefully, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, with her family at her side, on Thursday, January 28, 2010, at the age of 80. Loving sister of Aira and her husband Manuel Silveira and the late, Theodore Silva (2009) and his wife Maria Salome Silva. Special aunt of Lydia Graul (Jonathan) and their children Daniel Michael and Jack; Elizabeth Kennedy (Barry) and their children Alexa and Logan and Frank Silveira (Grace) and their children Selena and Alicia. Maria was born in Pico, Azores on January 6, 1930 and immigrated to Canada in 1979. She had resided at St. Andrew's Terrace for the past three years and will be sadly missed by the staff and residents. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, 184 Elgin St. S., on Monday, February 1, 2010, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount View Cemetery. Waterloo Region Record 4 Feb 2010
