  Rudolph C. Guenther, Sr . Rudolph C. Guenther; Sr., 92, died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Olga Walther, 1251 Allen St., East Waterloo. A son of the late August Guenther and Amelia Koschel, he was born in Germany and came to Canada in 1880. He was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical United Brethren Church, Waterloo. Surviving are two sons, Louis of Kitchener and Rudolph, Jr., of Waterloo; six daughters, Mrs. William (Heddie) Schwartz of Kitchener, Mrs. Walther of Waterloo, Mrs. Albert (Pauline) Brooks of Ildertoh, Mrs. Allen (Agnes) House of St. Jacobs and Mrs. Richard (Mae) Marquardt and Mrs. Earl (Elsie) Otterbein of Alma; 30 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. His wife, the former Bertha Boer, predeceased him in 1935. Three sons also predeceased him. He was the last surviving member of his family. The body is resting at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, Waterloo, where the funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery with Rev. G. F. Barthel officiating.
