- Percy J. Bruder Percy J. Bruder of 197 Douglas St., Waterloo, died suddenly Friday at K-W Hospital following a heart attack. He was 68.
Born in Waterloo Township, near Maryhill, he was a son of Clements Bruder and the late Mrs. Bruder.
A resident of the Twin Cities for 50 years he had been employed as a supervisor at Uniroyal Co. Ltd., general products division. He worked for Uniroyal for 44 years until retiring in 1967.
For the past year he was a representative for the Fuller Brush Co. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, the Catholic Council of Men and the 55 Bowling Club.
Besides his father, he is survived by his wife, the former Marie Hergott whom he married in Kitchener Oct. 7, 1937; one son, Clem of Kapuskasing; one daughter, Sister Miriam (Anne) of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, now attending the University of Windsor; two brothers, Allan (Bud) of Willowdale and Cyril of Winnipeg; four sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Violet) Murdock of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs Maitland (Hilda) Coleman, Mrs. Austin (Edna) Lehman and Mrs. Clarence (Verna) Hoch, all of Kitchener and three grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother, Arthur.
The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday, where the rosary will be recited Monday at 8 p.m. and prayers said Tuesday at 9: 30 a.m., followed by removal to the church for service at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
Donations to the Ontario Heart Foundation will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
