      By Record Correspondent GLENALLEN, June 20. Roses and fluffy white snowball is set off the interior of Holy Trinity church, Alma, to flowering advantage Saturday afternoon for the wedding of Miss Marjorie Laverne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Bridge, Alma. to Mr. Earl Wellington Gowing. son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Gowing. Glenallen. Rev. Mr. McLeman was the clergyman.

      Miss Helen Bridge attended her sister while Alfred Simms, Elora. was groomsman. The bride wore white lace over satin in a bolero effect and carried white roses with a halo of pink rosebuds over her white veil. Her train bearers were Misses Ethel Gowing and Joy Shearer. The bridesmaid wore mauve flowered sheer with a mauve hat, and carried pink roses. During the ceremony. Miss Ola Stricker sang "Because" as a solo.

      A reception followed at the home of the bride's parents. Mrs. Bridge and Mrs. Gowing receiving a number of guests. Mrs. Bridge wore an attractive costume of black and white, while Mrs. Gowing wore navy blue.

      The bride wore a travelling costume of navy blue with white accessories. The honeymoon is being spent in Montreal, and after their return, Mr. and Mrs. Gowing will live in Moorefield.

      Guests were present from Kitchener, Glenallen, Stratford and Palmertson.
